Life is a game, play it.

The idea of the game of hopscotch where you progress from earth to heaven by tossing a stone onto the court, inspired me for the painting “BirthDeath – and the way in between”.

It’s like in life … there’s a beginning and an end, the only constants. And between birth and death we try as in the game to progress as best as we can by throwing the stone onto the right spot, hopping and avoiding the lines.

With this painting I start my new art series about “life cycle”. To distinguish this series, I mark it with the universal logo of recyclable materials 🙂
